Inter-House Lip Sync Challenge

At school over the past week we have had lunch-time heats for the Inter-House Lip Sync Challenge on Monday was the Year 0-2,  on Tuesday was the Year 3-4, on Wednesday was the Year 5-6 division and on Friday was the Year 7-8. The winner for Year 0-2 was Hannah (Waiau house), the Year 3-4 champion was Talia (Oreti house), the Year 5-6 winner was me (Oreti house) and the year 7-8 champions were a group(Aparima house). It was really fun and every one enjoyed it.

Music

In school we have a new music teacher called Mrs Davidson. She taught us how to read simple musical note and it's really fun and I love it!

Then & Now (School 100 years ago)

For our topic in class we are looking at school 100 years ago compared to now. I found out that way back then they didn't have homework and they got to go home for lunch! They also got to ride horses to school! How lucky is that?

Reading

In reading we have been reading CSI books. One of our books was called The Worst Team in the world. It was good but I didn't really understand it but it was a great story! I love reading CSI books!

Cross Country

We've been training for cross country in Room 12 to see how many sides of school we can run in 15 mins. My highest is 10 sides. It's really fun!
